About Us
At Immanuel we take the idea to heart that God took flesh in the person of
Jesus Christ. He is incarnational, that is He is the Word Made Flesh and
He uses the reality of Word and Sacrament to communicate a message of
grace, mercy and love to us.This is the Gospel: That we are saved by grace through faith according to Christ. This is essential Lutheran teaching. Yet it is also evangelical and catholic in the sense that these terms are intended: centered on the Gospel and part of the historic and universal church. We are confident that you will find Jesus at Immanuel! |
